CONNOR and Lauren MCDAVID and The Joey Moss Story

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, we hope you and your students will celebrate I Read Canadian Day with the NHL’s Connor McDavid, many more notable Canadians and other students across Canada who give shoutouts on behalf of Find Your Own Story, a year-round literacy program where children in hospitals are strengthened and nurtured through the power of shared story.

During the I Read Canadian event, we also thankfully acknowledge sponsors who support I Read Canadian Day through their contributions to Find Your Own Story.

The Forest of Reading® is Canada’s largest recreational reading program! This initiative offers ten reading programs to encourage a love of reading in people of all ages. The Forest helps celebrate Canadian books, publishers, authors and illustrators.

A portion of the sales go to the I Read Canadian Fund, which supports getting Canadian Books into the hands of young people across the country. Help us (and the kids!) by donating to the I Read Canadian Fund and spreading the word. #IReadCanadian
