We hope you might want to support Find Your Own Story at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, a literacy program where children in the hospital are strengthened and nurtured through the power of shared story.
It’s an initiative that brings together hospital physicians, nurses and residents, along with the NHL’s Connor McDavid, superstar country artist Brett Kissel, actor Jason Thompson, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other notable Canadians.

Find Your Own Story is non-profit literacy outreach program for RDRHC where children in the pediatric wards as well as at home with Rehabilitation Services::
• connect to story through readings from physicians, nurse, residents, Canadian authors and notable Canadians
• have access to a ward library to read the books highlighted in the videos and encourage literacy
• join on-line classes and have access to recorded lessons where authors help them write their own stories
• take a book home at the end of their stay in the hospital
